Sonic Adventure 2: Battle: Prima's Official Strategy Guide

This can't exist

I don't know what happened to the talk I had here before but I basically said the book probably doesn't exist because it is being touted as a SA2:B and Sonic Advance dual book that comes with a poster, which is exactly what Sonic Advance & Sonic Adventure 2: Battle Official Perfect Guide is.

So I bought the only listing on Amazon and got the Versus Books guide in the mail instead. I doubt anyone could be mistaken when the other guide has "Versus Books" plastered at the top center of the book, let alone the completely different name. So I wasted $60 to confirm what I already thought was true.

So I doubt "Sonic Adventure 2: Battle: Prima's Official Strategy Guide" actually exists. I'll assume it is a canceled book since it has ISBN numbers but no pictures of the thing have ever surfaced unless I've missed something. Now that is a peculiar case. I've tried searching up the ISBN numbers for this book on WorldCat.org, but couldn't turn up any results. Some other book databases also list this book, but with only the limited information from the Amazon listings. This leaves us with two options:

1. Delete the page if no concrete evidence can be found that the book ever existed, like with "Sonic Jr.". (the more likely choice)
2. Rewrite the page and put it in Category:Unreleased printed media.

Slight addendum: Did a search on ISBN Search and the book DOES turn up there, but there's hardly any other information there at all, so...*shrug* --BSonirachi (talk) 12:20, 11 January 2023 (EST)

The only way to prove the second one would to get in contact with someone who worked at Prima at the time and see if it being a cancelled book is true (that and asking for a master list of physical/digital books) and see if any materials, if at all, are available.
