I expect, it being a British-made title with Japanese input, this was the original intended title. -[[User:Black Squirrel|Black Squirrel]] ([[User talk:Black Squirrel|talk]]) 12:58, 8 July 2018 (CDT)

Saturn/Mega Drive screens

Is there a way to get both the level screens from the Mega Drive/Saturn versions in the LevelBob like the screens are done for the levels? --RGamer2009 19:03, 30 August 2010 (CDT)

Uhh... they both are in the LevelBob. Do you mean the bottom S3DOmni template? Frozen Nitrogen (Talk) 19:06, 30 August 2010 (CDT)
Nonononono...Im talking on having BOTH the Saturn/Mega Drive pics in the box ala the 3D Blast levels. The one where you can select between the Mega Drive and Saturn versions of the same pic... --RGamer2009 19:10, 30 August 2010 (CDT)
But this IS the 3D Blast levels. :derp:
Uhh... give me the link to the template you want to incorporate this functionality to, since I clearly don't understand here. Frozen Nitrogen (Talk) 21:04, 30 August 2010 (CDT)
Alright. Template:LevelBob

This Part:

 • | levelscreen=
 • | screenwidth=
 • | levelscreentitle=
 • | levelscreen2=
 • | screenwidth2=
 • | levelscreen2title=

Put it into the main 3D Blast article, so it looks like this:

Oh I see, you want it in the Game Fast Facts bob to flip the title screens. Yes, it should technically be possible, but my effort just resulted in nothing but fail. If I remember I'll try again when it's not 4am. :3 Frozen Nitrogen (Talk) 22:52, 30 August 2010 (CDT)
I saw what you were trying to do. I think you need the line at the top to use the morphing class, but this would lead to inconsistent class IDs since this calls for LevelBobMaster and uses LevelBobContent1 and LevelBobContent2, unless someone edits the morphMaster class itself and add other IDs. I know my explanation is garbage but I know what's going on, I just can't fix it in a proper way. As a temporary solution I might use the LevelBobContentX IDs but this should really use new IDs. Done. Again, I recommend whoever is responsible for mantaining the morphMaster class to ADD new IDs such as BobMaster, BobContent1, and BobContent2. Nineko 06:30, 31 August 2010 (CDT)

I was just thinking, why limit it just to screenshots? Obviously there would probably need to be a more efficient way of doing it but when you select "Saturn" it might be better if it just revealed information about the Saturn release.

It's not a massive problem on Sonic Retro but on Sega Retro the differences between versions of games are more obvious (Virtua Fighter 2 Arcade vs. Saturn vs. Mega Drive). Space Harrier is the big example. Lots of release dates since it was ported to pretty much everything.

though it's a massive job. I'll throw this idea out there though -Black Squirrel 12:10, 31 August 2010 (CDT)
