Talk:List of Nintendo characters in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games

This should be seperate articles for all the characters I think. Otherwise then we have to make a similar article for the Smash Bros cast. And then again next time Sega and Nintendo partner up and make another game.--MathUser 17:22, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

We don't need articles for every Mario character, as this isn't a Mario wiki. I don't even think we need this article. Seems like something that would be better on the Mario & Sonic page. - Hivebrain 17:31, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

I recall someone saying we don't want individual pages for Nintendo characters, that's why I came up with a list of them, in the style of Wikipedia ("List of other characters in xxx"). I just wanted to remove the red links from the M&S article, and I thought this was the best solution. Nineko 17:33, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Or maybe we can have a generic "List of other Nintendo characters" which includes also ones from Brawl and future games. The level of detail for them is to be decided, I copied a couple of paragraphs from Wikipedia, but also one or two lines can be enough to remove red links Nineko 17:36, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Well, there is already Mario and Luigi articles created. I mean, it's not like we have to worry about bandwidth here. I also hate wikipedias multi-character articles. I like them to be individual pages. But lets hear what others have to say about this.--MathUser 17:54, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Old conversation, I know, but I wouldn't mind having that. I mean the Mario wiki did make articles for all the Sonic characters. Even ones that weren't playable like Cream and Espio. Winter characters?

I'd be for the individual character pages, so long as they're brief. We don't want in-depth descriptions of what Mario's done on each one of his adventures - just a short overview where it directly pertains to his interaction with the Sonic cast. Frozen Nitrogen 10:24, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

Of course. And I don't mean we should go as crazy as the Mario wiki did with making articles for every minor Sonic appeared in the crossover games. Just the playables: Bower, Peach, Daisy, Wario, Waluigi, Yoshi, Bowser Jr., and Donkey Kong. --ソニックエンジェル948 10:32, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
