A brief look at this - I agree that G-merl is probably more appropriate. There are later English texts with "Gemerl" but if it's a common misconception... it might have been misconceived. Unless it's said in the game at some point - I'm not as familiar with Advance 3 as the first two.

"Gemerl" is valid for the Archie comics version though.

I'm also obliged to say we need a full PDF scan of that guide so we can provide a proper reference to the G-merl name -Black Squirrel (talk) 08:55, 18 March 2018 (CDT)
