Stinger

The Stinger is a badnik found in Neo Green Hill Zone, Angel Island Zone (Sonic Advance), Leaf Forest, Sky Canyon, Egg Utopia and Sunset Hill, which is strongly based on the Buzzer badnik, found in Emerald Hill Zone. In Neo Green Hill Zone, Angel Island Zone (Sonic Advance) and Sky Canyon, this robot is bullet-firing type, in which the robot flies above the player and fires a bullet when approached. Avoid the bullets and destroy this badnik with a spin jump. In Leaf Forest and Egg Utopia, however, they are assault type, in which they proceed to sting the player when approached; try to jump on them when they attack. Unlike Buzzer's rocket pack, this badnik uses a propeller on its back.
