Star Pointer

Star Pointer, or Icedus (アイスダス) in Japan, is a hovering sphere badnik with four balls from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 found in IceCap Zone. It slowly moves around, and when it sees Sonic, Tails or Knuckles it slowly fires off its four balls of sharp ice one at a time. It's useful to have a Lightning Shield on you when you're near this badnik, as the ice balls will disintegrate when they come in contact with the shield. Another way to easily take this enemy out is with the insta-sheild, as it increases Sonic's attack range, allowing him to destroy it without getting hurt. To destroy the lone sphere that's left, just jump on it. It is similar to the Orbinaut.
