Found by Elliotro, Sonic Spinball Beta is not much different from the final and only varies in some ways.

List of Changes between Beta and Final:

  • Debug mode.
  • Incomplete bonus stages.
  • Some pallete changes.
  • An invincible final boss.
  • A different / glitchy intro.
  • Animals that appear from badnicks are different.
