Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is an upcoming live-action film in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series, and the sequel to the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 film. The film was announced on February 15, 2022, and is scheduled to be released theatrically on December 20, 2024.[2][3]
The film is set to be an adaptation of the events present in Sonic Adventure 2 as it introduces Shadow the Hedgehog, whom was teased in the previous film's mid-credits scene.
