Sonic 2 CD is a unreleased game for the Sega CD. It was mentioned briefly in a preview article in the video game magazine Electronic gaming monthly. Unlike Sonic CD which was a whole new game rather than a port of the original Sonic the Hedgehog, this game was to be an enhanced port of the genesis version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
