Metal Sonic playfield
Even though there isn't much within the 718 build of Sonic X-treme aside from the small Jade Gully sandbox area, if one removes the top layers of textures within the game, another image for the floor of the arena appears. Upon closer inspection, the image is found to be the exact same texture used for the floor in the last batch of screenshots released depicting the boss encounter with Metal Sonic.
