Leaf Storm is the only playable Zone in this demo, with only its second Act and boss fight. The first Act can be played via hacking.

Boss
No cutscenes play before starting a boss fight.
In the boss fight, the Touch Screen only displays the game's title. The final version uses the Touch Screen to display the boss' health and have Tails or Cream cheer the player on. The Egg Hammer Mega's body has white highlights instead of grey.
The Egg Hammer Mega only takes four hits to defeat in this build, entering its pinch phase after two hits. In the final, it takes six or eight hits depending on the difficulty level.
The Egg Hammer Mega's rolling head attack is harder to dodge.
