Sonic Rivals 2 features a card collecting system as a reward for completing various challenges throughout the game with 150 cards available to earn. Players can track their progress by viewing their card collection. Each card features a piece of artwork, usually having some relevancy to the challenge posed by the card. Some cards also unlock special features, such as alternative skins for the player's model.
