- 2001 — Issue #97 of the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series by Archie Comics is released in North America. Issue #207 of Sonic the Comic is released in the United Kingdom.
- 2007 — The 175th issue of Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog comic series goes on sale in North America.
- 2012 — Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II is released for the PlayStation 3 in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, and for the Xbox 360 worldwide. Sonic Labyrinth is released on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console in Japan. Issue #40 of Sonic Universe is released in North America.
- 2013 — Sonic the Hedgehog is released for iOS and Android in North America and Europe.
