Official patch notes:^[1]

Added features to the "Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles" sound test
Fixed track mismatches in the Museum for certain music tracks included in the Classic Music Pack
Corrected an issue in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 where Tails goes off-screen and is unable to rejoin
Additional bug fixes

Additional information:

'Sonic 2': Tails AI is no longer broken.^[2]
Museum: Knuckles' Chaotix sound track names (and some other sound track names) now correspond to the correct tracks.
'Sonic 3': Blue Spheres music now speeds up as expected.
'Sonic 3': You can now play either Sonic or Knuckles' Sky Sanctuary Zone as any character.^[3]
'Sonic 3': Marble Garden infinite ground shaking is fixed.
