Sonic Eats Rings, a forum headed by Spazz and Sz, is the continuation of the now-defunct Moogle Cavern, previously maintained by Kulock. It exists as a haven for the previous Moogle Cavern community members, and remains similar in style and forum layout.

The direction the forum will take from this point on is uncertain; 4 years on, little has changed from its predecessor, aside from the inclusion of a wiki to chronicle the page's numerous injokes over the years, an imageboard, an IRC chat, and a gradually dropping visitor rate. It had long been expected that new changes might occur that Kulock himself may not have considered making, but any such change has yet to take place. Plans of a main page are also unheard of as of yet.

The name "Sonic Eats Rings" is based on an injoke started by Keith Stack after he recieved the following reply to a letter he sent to a Sega representative:

Dear Keith,

Thanks for writing!

To answer your question: Sonic does indeed enjoy the occasional chili dog (although he still prefers rings). It's safe to say that he enjoys them in moderation now, though: they were just too much of an obsession! We can all learn a lesson from that.

The best place to find out all about Sonic and his friends is at Sonic Central:

...and of course on the Sonic messageboards, where you will find a community of dedicated Sonic fans like yourself!

As we're sure you know, Sonic and friends are back on television in the animated series "Sonic X". You can catch him on Saturdays on 4kidsTV. You can check it out at:

You can also join his adventures on the page in Sonic X Comics, brought to you by Archie Comics!

Sonic is also saving the world yet again with the release of Sonic the Hedgehog for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and Sonic and the Secret Rings on Wii. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games is scheduled for release on Wii later this year, but there's even more planned - we're just not allowed to talk about it yet!

As always, to get the scoop on all of upcoming and current releases, go to Thanks again for your support and interest. Sonic knows that great gamers like you are the reason SEGA is successful!

Good luck, and happy gaming!
