Sonic ERaZor is a hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 1 created by Selbi. There is no direct reason why the hack has this name, but Selbi has clearly said that it's not because of Erazor Djinn from Sonic and the Secret Rings.
Selbi has himself said that this hack has no goal, meaning that he throws in any idea he might get somehow into his mind. This can make the player sometimes think "What the heck?", because there are things that absolutely make no sense. Besides that, the hack is still pretty interesting and difficult. Because of too much negative criticism about the difficulty level, however, Selbi has added a new options menu, where you can enable various things to make the player's life easier, like the Air Move on B function.
