Aqua Planet Zone has a completely different appearance in this build, appearing to take place within a vine-filled cave rather than outdoors among oil rigs. This visual design along with its palette makes the Zone resemble Labyrinth Zone.

Act 1 is a mostly empty stage with no Rings, objects or water. Sonic and Tails will inevitably fall into a hole and get stuck. With no Bonus Panel at the end, the Act cannot be beaten.

Act 2 shares the same layout as Act 1 but this time takes place in an alternate dimension, with everything rendered in greyscale. This is because the Act loads a palette which only consists of many shades of grey ascending from black to white. Act 3 is identical, meaning there is no boss.
