Sonic Adventure 2: The Trial (Japanese store) version is a trial version of Sonic Adventure 2 for the Sega Dreamcast that was given to select Japanese stores. It has differences from the released game and is not the same as the similarily titled Sonic Adventure 2: The Trial.
Claimed differences by Segagaga from to the other "The Trial" include: Puru Puru Pack support, different textures, different titles, 2 player mode (Sonic and Shadow playable), and a FMV video of Sonic Adventure 2.[1]
On May 21, 2013, Sonic Retro forum member Orengefox dumped and released a copy of this version of the SA2 trial.
