Cheat Codes

These are cheat codes which can be accessed by inputting button sequences or by various other methods.

Cheat Codes, All Versions

• Special Stage Mode: Complete all 7 Special Stages, then, on the main menu, press .
• Extra Zone: Get all 7 Chaos Emeralds, then beat Altar Emerald with Sonic as the leader.
• Unlock Sound Test: Beat Altar Emerald.
• Unlock Time Attack (Boss): Get a gold medal in every zone, act and boss (except, for some reason, Nonaggression).
• Unlock Knuckles: Beat Sunset Hill Act 3 with Sonic as the leader.
• Unlock Amy: Beat Toy Kingdom Act 3 with Sonic as the leader.
• Unlock Cream: Beat Cyber Track Act 3 with Sonic as the leader.
• Change Color Setting: Press on the title screen. You will rotate between palettes tailored for the Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Advance SP and the Game Boy Player.
