Sonic 1: The Special Stages is a hack of Sonic 1 by SonicVaan. This hack removes standard Sonic gameplay and replaces it with the Special Stages which normally were only accessible by the Giant Rings at the end of each stage.

The actual special stage layouts have not been touched, but the music and background art have been altered for every stage and the continue screen.

Features

• Level select removed
• Debug Mode completly removed
• Only special stage gameplay
• Each Special Stage has it's own music
• Welcome and ending (bonus) screen added

Known Bugs

• If you only have 1 continue, the continue screen is glitchy
