The final rival battle in Sonic Generations (3DS) is against Silver the Hedgehog and takes place in Tropical Resort. Like the other rival battles, Sonic must beat Silver to the end of the level. Similar to the console version, the fight takes place in the same area. It takes cues from the Sonic Rivals series, allowing Sonic and Silver to attack each other mid-race. Silver can teleport to Sonic's position if he gets too far ahead, and Silver can use his telekinetic powers to levitate crates to throw at Sonic to stop him from winning.
