Sonic game hacking has come a long way since its roots in the late 1990s, however since this wiki also aims to catalogue scene history, information on old hacking mechanisms still exist here. To avoid any problems and confusion, this page lists tools and resources you should use in new projects instead.

Sonic the Hedgehog (16-bit)

The latest Sonic the Hedgehog disassembly is located on our Subversion repository, or as a downloadable package at this mirror. The latest version of SonLVL can edit these. (other tools)
