Casino Night Zone

We can see that the graphics for Casino Night Zone have been totally re-worked by Sega. The design in the prototype is a lot flashier and groovy. The worst thing is, this level is very pink!

There are pits everywhere, making it a nightmare to play the game without debug.

Act 1

  • Casino Night Zone has a completely different look.

  • You know the drill -- conveyor belts aren't working.

  • Cool palm tree neon signs.

  • Elevators are out.

  • No spring to boost Sonic up.

  • Where's the slot machine?

  • Collision detection of the bouncers must be off.

Act 2

  • In act 2, the city background is replaced with a pattern of pinball objects.

  • The rest of the level is similarly messed up as in act 1.
