The Red Fright, known as a Red Spooky (レッドスプーキー) in Japan, is an enemy in the night stages of Sonic Unleashed and one of Dark Gaia's minions.
They are similar to the Dark Fright in terms of appearance, but they are colored red. They also appear in large groups and have the ability to attack by bouncing on the Werehog, causing minimal damage despite being faster and more powerful than their blue cousins. They can also be picked up and thrown at other enemies, but they are still not very powerful weapons.
