Quartz Quadrant is the fourth round in Sonic CD. An entire mine set underground, you are almost completely surrounded by Quartz and other minerals. There are opening to the outside as well. Since this level is a bit more cramped than most levels, it will be harder to get to the past. Can you do it?

Instruction Manual Description

Look out for falling rocks as you race through a treasure trove of glittering gems. Touch the arrow signs to change the direction of the moving conveyor belts. Spiny snails, cannon-toting beetles and crawling caterpillars will try their best to slow you down.

Present Past Bad Future Good Future
The present is a large mining facility, with contraptions built in such as conveyer belts. There is still a large amount of quartz to be mined, and some are just lying around. The mines of the past use more simple machines, and most everything is made from wood. Badniks are more scrace in the past, but that doesn't mean that it won't cause... ...The future to become a wasteland of smoke-filled skies! Most of the land has become Robotniks cities, and he still has his badniks in the same position as before. If you manage to stop Robotniks production of robots, the future will turn brighter. The mining has stopped, and the exposed crystals shimmer off light in the background.
