The Power Rod is an upgrade available to Big the Cat in Sonic Adventure. A souped-up model of the feline's sturdy fishing pole, this rod enables Big to cast his lure out to a further distance. Sonic Adventure is the only game where Big fishes, and so this upgrade has not appeared anywhere since.
Sonic Adventure
- Purpose: Increases casting range.
- Location: Mystic Ruins Adventure Field, jungle area. It's in Big's house under his bed; simply return there and lift the furniture out of the way.
- Requirements: None.
- Required For: Nothing--it's purely a novelty item to make Big's life easier when fishing.
