Oldbies are members on the Sonic Retro forum who have been around in the Sonic Research scene for an arbitrarily "long" time.
The general criteria to quality for this group requires having entered the scene--by means of a post or an existing forum account--before the date of the first post on the Sonic Retro forums (January 10th, 2003). Leeway of 2 to 3 months may be allowed for certain members, with the latest case of an oldbie's registration having been in March of 2003.
Admission into this group is arbitrarily up to the Administrators on a case-by-case basis. Oldbies have their own private forum and the ability to move pages on the wiki.
