Newtron, called Meleon (メレオン) in the Japanese manual, is a badnik that appears in Green Hill Zone in Sonic the Hedgehog. There are two types of Newtron - one is green, stays still and shoots a bomb at you, though eventually disappearing, while the blue type drops to the ground and slowly follows Sonic.
