Important information concerning uploads

Accepted file extensions: JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, ZIP, RAR, DEB, SVG, VGM, VGZ, GZ, 7Z, PDF, OGG, SXC. Preferred file extensions: PNG for screenshots, JPG for scanned material (PDF for multiple pages), 7Z for archives. Guidelines: Do not upload your own ROM hacks. All uploaded ROM hacks must meet the hack policy. You should also compress the hack before uploading. Uploading a screenshot? Please read the screenshots guide first to ensure you upload a high quality image. Naming files: Read the naming files guide for advice. Need to upload a file larger than 100MB? Contact an administrator. Useful for multiple Retro wikis? Upload to Retro CDN. Uploading a new version of a file? Make sure the "destination filename" is the same.

To include the image in a page, use a link in the form [[File:File.jpg]], [[File:File.png|alt text]] or [[Media:File.ogg]] for directly linking to the file.
