<forumuser name="LOst" /> LOst is a veteran scener. Having been a part of the Sonic scene as early as 1999, LOst has made several technical breakthroughs during his stay in the scene, such as documenting the Sprite Status Table, digging up code labels from Sonic & Knuckles Collection, creating renowned ROM hacks Eggman in Sonic 1 and Emerald Power, transcribing the Green Hill Zone boss into C++ on the PC platform, among other things. He is an extremely talented programmer, and was once jokingly referred to as "The Godmod" by sceners LocalH and Sonic Sue.

LOst has a tendency and growing passion to study the 16-bit Sonic games in order to learn how they worked, so he can understand and mimic their design. Among his idols include Hirokazu Yasuhara, Yuji Naka, Naoto Ohshima, Yashichi Yamaguchi and Masato Nakamura--each part of the magic that he believed made the original Sonic games so great.

He was once an administrator on boards such as Sonic Classic, the original SWS2B, Area 51, and others. He has also worked on various secret or otherwise unreleased projects, usually of a technical nature.

He is currently the lead programmer for the Sonic 2 HD project, for which he plans to port over the entirety of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 to a PC-based platform.

History

In the latter part of his tenure at SWS2B (mid to late 2005), LOst became increasingly combative, and often posted simply to increase his postcount. Simon eventually got fed up, put him back in trial membership, and reset his postcount. He did not use all of his trial posts for a long period of time. Once he did, however, Simon moved him back into the Tech Members group, but by this point he was already long gone.
