Heavy Magician is a boss encountered in Sonic Mania. She's one of the members of the Hard-Boiled Heavies. The player has a first contact with her at the beginning of Mirage Saloon Zone Act 1 where she knocks Knuckles off the plane and later on in the same act in the introduction of the mini-boss, which she turns a common Caterkiller into a giant.

Her fight itself, however, only occurs in Act 2, where she uses as strategy the illusions of the obscure Team Hooligan, composed of Bark the Polar Bear, Bean the Dynamite and Fang the Sniper, each with a different pattern for attacks. When transformed into Bark, the Heavy Magician uses shivers that knock down debris on top of the player; When it is turned into Bean, it uses bombs; and when transformed into Fang he shoots the features stopper bullets and jump style.
