Heavy Gunner is the mini-boss encountered in Sonic Mania. The player confronts him at the end of Studiopolis Zone Act 1. He's one of the members of Hard-Boiled Heavies.
The boss is accompanied with three Egg Robos, while shooting three rockets at a time: two orange and one blue. The last one can be the player can jump on to damage the boss.
