Green Hills Zone is the fourth Zone in the 8-bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. As with other Zones in this game, Green Hills consists of two standard Acts followed by a shorter third Act which contains the Zone's boss.

Overview

Green Hills Zone bears a very strong resemblance to Green Hill Zone from the Sega Mega Drive version of Sonic the Hedgehog, from which it is named after. Much like Green Hill Zone, this Zone consists of rolling green hills complete with loop-de-loops for Sonic to run through, along with slopes for Sonic to roll down and launch off ramps. The largest difference between this and the regular Green Hill are the trees having a different appearance.
