Green Hill is the first stage in Sonic Generations and an adaption of the level Green Hill Zone seen in Sonic the Hedgehog (with some elements taken from Emerald Hill Zone). It is the only stage in both the console and handheld versions of the game.

As well as being the first zone to be announced, it is the only playable level within both Sonic Generations demos.
