Gene Gadget Zone, the sixth zone of Sonic 3D: Flickies' Island, is a fairly easy zone that takes place in space. Sonic teleports on different platforms and faces some rehashed enemies. The boss is set on a conveyor belt and featured Robotnik's first real use of missiles to blast Sonic away, while Sonic himself must avoid spiked blocks moving on the conveyor belt and staying ahead of the spikes behind him.
