Gator
Game: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (16-bit)

Gator is a scrapped Badnik, originally intended to be used in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Gator is unique among scrapped badniks for the game, as its front half shows up in the Dust Hill Zone mockup picture. However, its full sprite was discovered in the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 "Simon Wai" prototype by Esrael. The mechanical alligator badnik rolls around on its wheels and snaps its jaw to hurt Sonic. The badnik is placable in Hidden Palace Zone in the "Nick Arcade" prototype, along with other early badniks.
