Final Haunt

Final Haunt is an area of the Black Comet and the name of a level in Shadow the Hedgehog.

Purpose

After heeding to Maria's plea and defeating the [[Artifical Chaos atLost Impact, or Defeating Sonic the Hedgehog in a race for the cyan Chaos Emerald, Shadow and Sonic are seen walking on the deck of the ARK. Sonic points out the Black Comet flying past ARK, and Shadow senses that the Black Comet is the location of Black Doom and his invading army. Shadow and Sonic apparently used Tails' shuttle, and they get to the surface. It's time for a showdown on the Black Comet, and Sonic wants Shadow to help him find Black Doom. However, Doom's Eye appears near a shield generating device and asks Shadow to activate all four of them.

Missions

• Hero: Sonic the Hedgehog: Find the real Black Doom.
• Dark: Black Doom: Activate four switches and turn on the Black Comet's defense system.

Bosses

Shadow's actions determine Final Haunt's boss. Going dark makes the boss Diablon, a GUN defense robot aided by Sonic (the reason being is, as Shadow says, is because he is 'siding with whoever goes up agains you [Sonic]'). Going hero forces Black Doom to challenge the two hedgehogs.
