Early concept art of a map showing the entire island where Sonic 2's story takes place. It shows early versions of levels featured in the final game as well as some levels that never made it past the conceptual stage of development. This early concept art also illustrates how time travel functioned in Sonic 2 back when time travel was still planned for the game.
