Egg Utopia is the seventh zone of Sonic Advance 2, and the last standard zone in the game. It resembles Sonic the Hedgehog 2's Death Egg Zone slightly in appearance on the outside (as the space background suggests that the Utopia is moving at high speed too), though the inside is more similar to Flying Battery Zone from Sonic & Knuckles.

The gravity will change every once in a while, much like in Sonic & Knuckles' Death Egg Zone and Sonic Advance' Cosmic Angel Zone, providing a real challenge. The outdoor areas are also very dangerous as they are filled with long stretches of bottomless pits.

The Zone's boss is the Egg Frog, a large frog-like mech piloted by Dr. Eggman. The battle with this boss also involves the Zone's gravity switching mechanic.

Enemies

  • Geji-geji - Centipede bots that crawl slowly through the air between the floor and ceiling.
  • Mouse - A mouse Badnik that scurries along the ground, similar to the Technosqueek.
  • Spina - A Badnik previously seen in Sonic Adventure. Flies in place, spinning its blades.
  • Stinger - Like the ones seen in Leaf Forest, this is the assault-type that will attempt to sting the player.
