Final Zone, Sonic Mania
Number of Acts: 1
Level theme: outer space
Boss: Phantom King & Klepto Mobile
Prerequisite: Obtain 7 Chaos Emeralds as Sonic (or as Knuckles & Knuckles)
Titanic Monarch Zone

Egg Reverie Zone is the thirteenth and final zone in Sonic Mania, set up like most other final levels such as The Doomsday Zone. Only Sonic may play the zone normally after having collected all 7 Chaos Emeralds. After the destruction of the final boss in Titanic Monarch Zone, the Phantom Ruby suddenly reacts and transports Sonic to this mysterious pocket dimension where time and space is distorted as evidenced by the HUD.

The Heavy King, now transformed into the Phantom King, will try to take the Phantom Ruby for himself, only for Dr. Eggman to try and wrestle him for it with the Klepto Mobile, with the two of them taking turns holding the Ruby and stopping Sonic, who has transformed into Super Sonic.

Unlike past final boss battles that revolve around Super Sonic, Super Sonic can both fly and walk around the level normally. When jumping, press the jump button again to begin flying. By pressing a jump button while flying, Super Sonic will do a dash that costs 5 rings. Because Super Sonic must play this stage, you start out with 50 rings instead of 0, and you lose rings at the traditional Super rate of one per second, if your ring total drops to 0, Sonic instantly dies. Rings are consistently flying around the zone, and will be drawn toward you as you approach them.

Upon beating both bosses, Super Sonic will make one last attack on Eggman to take back the Phantom Ruby, only for the collision to cancel his Super form, and for Sonic to be taken through a dimensional portal with the Ruby to another dimension while Titanic Monarch Zone crumbles.

Though only Sonic is meant to access this zone by normal means, it is possible for Knuckles to access this zone in normal play if a "No Save" game is being played with "& Knuckles" turned on in the Secrets menu. Beating this zone as Knuckles & Knuckles will display a secret ending.
