The Egg Flame is a Badnik featured in Sonic Unleashed, and a variant of the Egg Typhoon.

Overview
Egg Flames stand or walk around an area, doing nothing. When they spot Sonic, they will expel flame from their fronts for several seconds as an attack. In the 360/PS3 version, this attack can set the Werehog on fire, slowly draining his life gauge. They also appear to have somewhat of a playful side, dancing around in a ballerina fashion when they need to return to their original positions in the 360/PS3 version.
Also in the 360/PS3 version, the Werehog can grab an Egg Flame in nighttime stages and weaponize its scorching breath with / and the Left Stick to set enemies ablaze, slowly draining their health. He can also use them to melt ice in Cool Edge.
These Badniks are found in the daytime Savannah Citadel Act 1 and nighttime Cool Edge Act 1 in the 360/PS3 version, whereas in the Wii/PS2 version they are found in Dragon Road's daytime stage, the Cool Edge nighttime stages and Arid Sands Night Act III: Valley of Spirits.
