Egg Commanders are combat automatons constructed by Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, deployed by the mad scientist in and around Soleanna during Sonic the Hedgehog (2006).
It's an advanced model of the Egg Rounder, coloured blue and red and easily spot amongst the white Egg Rounders. The Egg Commander is always the leader of a group of Egg Rounders, so destroying an Egg Commander, destroys every Egg Rounder on screen. The Egg Commander can use the smae defense and attacks as the Egg Rounder. It has some armor, taking two hit to destroy.
