A Spina in Speed Highway.
Spina Model in Sonic Generations

The Spina (スピナ), also known as a model number E-06 Bladed Spinner, is a badnik that appears in Sonic Adventure and part of the E-Series. It is a variation of the Orbinaut, known in Sonic adventure as the Spiky Spina.

The Spina is a bat-like badnik with blade wings attached to its midsection. These blades never stop spinning. Individual Spina have different behaviors to one another: some will lay on place, others fly around in circles or eights, and there are those who will move towards the enemy once they spot him/her.

There is an advanced model, the Spana, a Spina which discharges an electric field every now and then.

His first appearance is in 2D Sonic Advance 2 in Egg Utopia stage and Sonic Advance 3 in stages Route 99 and Ocean Base.
