Discussion with Friends was founded in 2001 by Gunner112k and sth2k as a message board for people within the Sonic Community. Its original purpose was to serve a place for people to communicate about things other than Sonic the Hedgehog, to compensate for the then-lack of an Everything Else forum on the Area 51 message board.
