Wii U Version

It is a theme level desert with several puzzles in pyramids, obstacles like cactus and common enemies in the area as sandworms. In the first act has the presence of cactus, sandworms and uses the Crimson Eagle Color Power to pass the air and the Yellow Color Power Drill to drill the land. In the second act has hives and the presence of buzzers. In the third act is a place with many sweets like with Sweet Mountain Sonic Colors. In the fourth act has several tornadoes of sand, but using the Yellow Drill Color Power can go through them.

3DS Version

The Act 1 has a small resemblance to the first act of the Wii U version with sand pits, giant sandworms and cactus, this act has the presence of Indigo Wisp. In Act 2 unlike the Wii U version does not have the hive but a pyramid with several challenges, using the Yellow Drill Color Power can go through underground place. In Act 3 begins already in a quicksand where Zomom will're shooting laser your vehicle and Sonic will have to destroy it.

Trivia

  • This level has a similar appearance to Sandopolis from Sonic & Knuckles.
  • Act 1 bears a resemblance to Mirage Road of Sonic Rush.
  • Act 3 of the Wii U version has a resemblance to Sweet Mountain of Sonic Colors because of the variety of sweets such as cakes, candies, juices and cookies. (The title card also shows "Dessert Ruins", with the second "S" added in as a correction.)
