Chemical Plant is the second level in Sonic Generations, and an adaptation of the level Chemical Plant Zone seen in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. It is implied during the Modern Sonic level that Chemical Plant suffers through a meltdown, and the two Sonics would have to escape it. Water rises up in this level and the Sonics have to use Springs to escape it. Blocks also appear in the Modern level.
