- Back to: Chaotix (prototype 1207)/Comparisons.
In the 1207 prototype of Chaotix, the World Entrance is non-functional. There are clear plans to do something with it, but all the player needs to do is walk to the right to access a simplified level select screen.
In the final game, the level select allows users to access seven variations of the World Entrance - "0" offers a blank slate with no levels unlocked, "1" sets off Metal Sonic when the player reaches the level select screen, and "2" causes the final boss to appear. In the 1207 prototype, 0 does nothing and 1 doesn't enable the Metal Sonic fight, the rest, in both games, lead to strange results.
