In the video game Sonic Adventure 2, Chaos Control is a power that can be used by the power of a single Chaos Emerald or more. When it is used, the user, in this case, Shadow the Hedgehog, is warped through space and time to another destination of the user's choice. The user may optionally take other objects or beings with him, with varying amounts of effort.

The first time it is used is in Sonic Adventure 2, during Shadow's meeting with Sonic the Hedgehog. The second time was to (very reluctantly) save Rouge the Bat from the Prison Island base, third was in Sonic and Shadow's final duel and fourth was to save the world form the collision of Space Colony ARK.

Three people have the ability to use this power: Shadow, Sonic (he didn't know it at first, now he only uses it when he has no other choice) and Metal Sonic, after copying Sonic & Shadow's data in Sonic Heroes.

Usually, Chaos Control is synonymous with teleportation, although it can affect reality in a multitude of manners. When used by the player, Chaos Control stops time or launches energy-based projectiles.

Chaos Control is part of Team Dark's Team Blast, "Chaos Inferno".

In Sonic Battle, all of Shadow's attacks involve Chaos Control in some form or another.

In Sonic X, Chaos Control brings Sonic and his Friends to the Real World.

In Shadow the Hedgehog, Shadow can use the Chaos Control when he builds up his "hero" meter (by destroying alien enemies as opposed to earthling ones). However, it appears that Chaos Control has changed from manipulating time to transporting Shadow between areas (although this might be an illusion caused by Chaos Control).
