3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is an enhanced re-release of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Nintendo 3DS and is part of M2's 3D Classics range.
Additional features include 3D effects, 2-player VS. and co-op via local wireless, a filter to emulate the look of older televisions, customizable controls, the choice between the Japanese and International versions, savestates, and a "Ring Keep" feature which gives the player 10 free rings at the start of each act and causes the player to only lose half their rings when hit.
