One of the most notorious differences in the Nintendo Switch version is that there is no opening FMV when starting up the game. Sega has stated that this exclusion was due to "cartridge size restrictions" (the Switch version is roughly 7 GB, and including the FMV will make the game impossible to fit on an 8 GB game card) and the FMV will not be patched in.[1]

A more basic font is used for numerous amounts of text in the game compared to other versions, such as certain menu options and character speech.

Obviously due to the Nintendo Switch being less powerful than other consoles, there is a noticeable graphical downgrade compared to other versions. Gameplay is also locked to 30fps while other versions can achieve 60fps.
